"All Systems Go" : Learn more about how SafeNetRx is expanding access in Nebraska and cutting down on waste.

Nebraska has officially launched its partnership with Iowa’s SafeNetRx, creating the nation’s first multi-state prescription drug donation program.

This innovative collaboration will ensure that safe, pharmacist-inspected donated medications are available to Nebraskans who need them most. With bipartisan support and a new state contract, the program is already making an impact, expanding on SafeNetRx’s long-standing work in Iowa.

Between July 2024 and June 2025 alone, SafeNetRx collected more than $28 million worth of donated medicine, and now Nebraska patients and pharmacies can benefit too.
