$5 Billion

worth of unexpired medications are wasted annually across the US

By accepting what a facility would commonly destroy and giving to those in need, SafeNetRx is able to solve two problems at once.

Established in 2001, SafeNetRx was created as an Iowa-based non-profit to provide affordable medicines to patients in need. In 2007 we pioneered the Drug Donation Repository model to collect, inspect, and distribute unused medicines. Together we are building a national drug donation system where unused medicines can be redirected to clinics and pharmacies caring for patients in need.
