We're located at 1500 SE 19th St, Ste 530, Grimes, IA 50111

We are a closed-door facility. Once you arrive, please ring the doorbell to the left of the door and a staff member will let you in. If you are struggling to find our location, give us a call at 515-327-5405.

Wear comfy clothes!

Bring headphones if you'd like to listen to music!

We have a full kitchen with water available, but please feel free to bring any beverages or snacks.

What to expect

Our normal operating hours are:

  • Monday - Thursday from 8:00AM - 4:30PM
  • Friday from 8:00AM - 2:00PM

Fill out the scheduling form on our Volunteer Webpage to add a shift to your calendar!

We always appreciate our volunteers keeping us up to date.

Take a look at the confirmation email you received when scheduling your volunteer shift. That email should provide you with the option to cancel or reschedule your shift.

Currently, we have no limits on volunteer hours. Sign up for as many volunteer shifts as you would like using the scheduling tool on our Volunteer Webpage!

Yes, if requested, we can provide documentation of volunteer hours and duties.

Yes, once you apply to become a volunteer, we will reach out to go over a brief orientation, training, and expectations of volunteers.

Requirements

No, we accept volunteers from all backgrounds and will provide the appropriate training for all volunteer duties.

Yes, we allow minors who are 16 years or older to volunteer with their parent or guardian's permission.

Once you have completed the volunteer application, we will send you some brief training materials to complete before you volunteer. We will also provide more detailed training on-site.

Additionally, we require volunteers to complete HIPAA training to ensure protected health information is not being shared. This training is linked to the online application and must be completed before you arrive.
