Working Together to Make a Difference

At SafeNetRx, creating lasting change is at the forefront of what we’re working towards together. With the help of givers like you, we can be a catalyst for both our community and our planet.

How it works

Step 1: Sort your eligible donations

We accept donations that are:
  • 6+ months from expiration
  • Sealed in tamper-evident packaging (bubble packs, bingo cards, and blister cards may be donated even if they only have a few pills left)
We do NOT accept donations that:
  • Have been dispensed in un-sealed amber vials
  • Have multiple medications within the same packaging (PillPacks)
  • Are controlled substances
  • Appear to have been adulterated, broken, or disintegrated
  • Require refrigeration (for example insulin)

Looking to donate insulin? We recommend visiting Insulin for Life or your local animal shelter.

Step 2: Complete the Donation Form

We’ll email you a completed copy of your donation form to print, sign, and send with your donation.

Step 3: Send it on its way

Box up eligible medication along with your completed donation form and mail or drop off at this address:

SafeNetRx
1500 SE 19th Street, Suite 530
Grimes, IA 50111
Donations drop-offs are accepted M-TH 8:30AM-4:00PM. Please call ahead before stopping by. Thank you!

Step 4: Dispose of ineligible items

Destroying medication responsibly is at the heart of our company. For those medications that didn't meet our eligibility, please dispose of them properly by dropping them off at a local collection site.

Unable to donate your medications?

Consider contributing directly by donating the money you would have spent to ship the medications to us.

For every $10 we raise, SafeNetRx can generate roughly $100 worth of medications to give to those in need.
